I'm working on making a PHP 5 compliant version of the default osCommerce 2.2 MS 2 install, and so far so good. I have a couple of place that I need to iron out some kinks and do some testing but I should have a beta package up by the weekend.
All in all the conversion to PHP 5 is not all that intensive although I'm sure all the contributions will need work as well.
The next thing I want to do to osCommerce is strip out all the imbedded tables and create a nice clean CSS layout that is easy to manage. Hopefully I'll be able to start a site like CSS Zen Garden for osCommerce.

Well, I can install it and run both the catalog and the admin. I haven't tested it or added any contributions but it seems to work with osCommerce 5.
